Is Aloha Nui Family Practice, LLC a
primary care clinic or a HIV / AIDS clinic? Will I be cared for by a board certified physician? Yes, Dr. Harmeling is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), as well as the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM). At Aloha Nui Family Practice, LLC we are currently getting our certification to start our cosmetic & laser dermatology services for Fall 2008. Is it difficult to get a same-day appointment? At times Dr. Harmeling's busy schedule will not allow same day appointments, but we do offer a FIRST(1st)Care walk-in medical services clinic staffed by our board certified physician assistant who can manage any of your common minor illnesses, wellness screenings/physical exams, and vaccinations. Does Aloha Nui Family Practice, LLC accept insurance? Yes, most insurance are accepted but non-insured clients are also encouraged to call for a cash-pay appointment. Credit and debit cards are accepted. Will my appointments and medical information be confidential? Yes, Aloha Nui Family Practice, LLC is a HIPAA compliant medical office that values and respects our client’s privacy. Is Aloha Nui Family Practice, LLC up to date on the latest in medical information technology? Yes, electronic medical records are standard. No lost or misplaced charts ever!
